Dear European AL Invest IV partners of the Andean region,

As you are well aware, CAINCO asked you to prepare a presentation of the services offered by you for the AL Invest IV management meeting that will take place in Sta. Cruz.

In this context, we consider it very convenient if you would gather information about the various Nuclei of several sectors which are already established in the four CAN countries. At the end of September 2009 there were 106 Nuclei of total 1,438 entrepreneurs organized in these Nuclei. Accordingly, please find attached a document named "lista de los Núcleos socios Al Invest IV – CAN" for ready reference.

I take this opportunity to kindly ask you to read this and also have a look into the photo album which may serve as basis for a general reflection on your offers for the Nuclei within Al Invest IV in 2010. Should you have experts for the respective sectors or perhaps special trade fairs take place in your region, please include these details in your presentation. Especially interesting would be to share experiences, experts and events related to the sectors indicated below, since in the majority of the places of the Andean partners Nuclei are established already:

  • jewellery
  • food
  • timber, furniture, leather goods, carpentry
  • metal mechanical industry
  • fashions
  • footwear / leather

The members of the Nuclei are SMEs and MSMEs and at present almost all Nuclei are in the process of identifying their problems with the help of their Nucleus advisors. They need appropriate offers to their demands, which are mostly concentrated on topics like market, quality and management.

Certainly your specific offers will help a lot in the process of activities and budget schedule for 2010.
