09.11.09 - Nuclei of Small-Sized enterprises, Social Capital and Territorial Development in Algeria

In the continuation of its previous works (see Perret 2009 (a) and 2009 (b )), the question which underlies this study of Cécile Perret (IREGE, University of Savoie, France) is to know whether  the implementation of the Nucleus Approach has more chances to function successfully the urban regions or not, underprivileged regions or not, or in a more or less individualistic environment.

The first part of this work exposes, in the light of the multi-form concept of social capital, the evolution of the entrepreneurial logic in Algeria. The second part investigates the nature of the social links. Finally, the third part brings to light the nature of the links and their differentiated impact on territorial development.
